What a season for creating school records! Now, the Loveland Tigers can add a Division II State Championship to the list of new records made during the 2013 football season. The Tigers (15-0) played against Cleveland Glenville Tarblooders (13-2) during a snowstorm at Fawcett Stadium in Canton on Friday, Dec. 6th. The undefeated Tigers seized the title with a 41-23 victory over the Tarblooders. In this Championship game alone, the Tigers set at least 3 new records. In the early days of the railroad service, years before the Transcontinental Railroad would be established, there were many smaller railroads that covered various parts of the United States. Two of these railroads, Hillsboro and Cincinnati, were railroads that ran through the city of Loveland, Ohio at that time. These railroads were first chartered way back in 1846. The idea was to run a railroad line that stretched from Hillsboro and O’Bannon Creek, which took up part of Loveland, and run along the Little Miami route.
